EL MONTE SAGRADO TAOS WEDDING - May 29, 2010

Another great Soulstice gig playing for the wedding of Senator Ingle

and Kathy Miller's daughter Laura and Gaylan Rawdon in Taos at the

sumptuous El Monte Sagrado ballroom.

The reception was a great dance party with Soulstice and lead singer

Vicky receiving lots of compliments.

Last year Soulstice played for the wedding of sister Dr. Jennifer Ingle

and Dr. David Pettigrew at La Posada in Santa Fe.

SOULSTICE ROCKS NDI GALA - May 16, 2010

The band Soulstice was a smash playing for about 500 of Santa Fe's

Movers and Shakers last night - May 15th - at the Fundraising Gala

for the National Dance Institute's school programs. The dance floor

was packed and Soulstice received many complements.

The music ranged from dinner music, then dance music from funk

to rock to Lady Gaga.

SOULSTICE RE-BOOKED TO PLAY KTECH PARTY - DEC 11 2010 - April 2, 2010

Soulstice has been re-booked to play for the very success Albuquerque company  KTech's holiday.

The party will be held on December 11th this year and the band is looking forward to the event.

 Around 600 staff family and friends attended last year  and it was a blast. 

ST. VINCENT'S HOSPITAL GALA FUNDRAISER -OCT 23/ 2010 - April 2, 2010

 

Soulstice is contracted to play for the 6th straight year for the CHRISTUS ST. VINCENT'S HOSPITAL GALA FUNDRAISER on October 23rd this year.

It promises to be another very successful and enjoyable evening.

 Last year's event raised $70,000 for  valuable hospital  projects and expansion. 

SOULSTICE TO PLAY AMERICAN CANCER SOCIETY AGAIN - April 2, 2010

Following the success of their previous performance for the  AMERICAN CANCER SOCIETY fundraiser, Soulstice will be back to play for this year's fundraiser. It will be held on May 1st 2010 at Bishops Lodge Tesuque Pavillion.

The organizers has this to say about Soulstice last time " We all had a great time and the feedback was very positive. Music during dinner was just right, not too loud and the dancing music was outstanding! Thank you! "

SOULSTICE VOTED BEST NM. EVENT BAND ! - July 16, 2009

SOULSTICE was recently voted "Finest Musical Entertainment For Weddings And Events" 2009 by the readers of New Mexico Event And Planner magazine.
There was an award event on July 16th at Albuquerque's beautiful Balloon Museum.

New Mexico Event And Planner Magazine is for Event and Wedding professionals in New Mexico and the band members of Soulstice were particularly honored to have been recognized by such a savvy and well informed group who get to see all of New Mexico's musical talent in action.

Vicky and Chris Speer, Soulstice's founders, commented,

SOULSTICE DROPS SOME NAMES... - July 1, 2009

Seems like everyone is impressed with names they have heard of - so we thought we'd drop a few... Here are some folks that Soulstice has played for or with... Soulstice played for N.M. GOVERNOR BILL RICHARDSON at his personal request. In the audience were: TV newsman SAM DONALDSON; prominent businessman and  now the the richest man in the world, CARLOS SLIM HELU; country recording star RANDY TRAVIS; Also the GOVERNOR of Arizona and MAYORS of El Paso, Albuquerque & Santa Fe. Soulstice was filmed as part of an NBC TOM BROKAW special segment for Dateline while performing at the WEINSTEIN family wedding at the Hyatt Tamaya. HARVEY and BOB WEINSTEIN are film producers, previously of MIRAMAX Film Studios, now heading the WEINSTEIN COMPANY.

MUSICIANS LIKE SOULSTICE TOO: - March 27, 2009

Soulstice was most pleased to receive a compliment from film legend, Academy award winner, SHIRLEY MacCLAINE on their music and on lead singer Vicky Speer's vocals during the band's performance at St. Vincent's last Fundraising Gala. The band are big fans of Ms. McClaine's work.

Georgia rockers “ COLLECTIVE SOUL” co - producer, songwriter and brilliant guitarist DEXTER GREEN was a guest at another Soulstice event. Friends prompted him to sit in with the band and Dexter played some brilliant guitar. Afterwards he paid tribute to Soulstice's musicianship.

At a wedding for Washington diplomats Ed and Maria, the HUNGARIAN AMBASSADOR to the U.S. and musician ANDRAS SIMONYI sat in with the band and rocked out some songs to the delight of the audience.

At a wedding for Abbi & David, prolific Film & TV composer,
arranger and musical director BRUCE MILLER, composer of many TV theme songs including "Frasier" & music director on shows with Aretha Franklin & Smoky Robinson,played a piece on keys with the band and had a great time. Bruce was very complementary of Soulstice.

Another event Soulstice played at had ex “10CC” band member and music video director LOL CREME in the audience. Soulstice performed one of his hits " I’m not in love “ for Lol and guests. Lol told the band he loved the performance.
